Fingerprint Attendance Must For Every Employee

The Ministry of Information has instructed its employees to ensure they go through the fingerprint attendance system every time they arrive and leave the units where they work aside from their main work area, reports Al-Rai daily quoting Undersecretary Tarik Al-Marzam.

In an administrative circular he issued recently, Al-Marzam pointed out some employees do not register through the fingerprint attendance system when they report to other units. He clarified the immediate supervisor of the employees will be subjected to disciplinary action in case of failure to take the necessary procedures once a violation is uncovered.

According to the circular, the fingerprints of the employees in other governmental bodies and their main work area must match the times they arrive and leave such places in line with the regulations set by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
