Fire Broke Out Over An Area Of 200 Square Meters Within A Store In Shuwaikh Industrial Area

Fire broke out over an area of 200 square meters within a store of area 22,000 square meters in Shuwaikh Industrial Area. In a press statement, the Public Relations and Media Department of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) explained that the Control Room of KFSD received information about the store on fire, after which firefighters were dispatched to the location.

Firefighters arrived within five minutes after the call was made, and extinguished the fire which had spread to an area of 200 square meters. The department revealed that the fire caused damages to the entire store as well as a room used for housing the laborers. No injuries were reported. Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the fire. High-ranking officials were present at the location
