First Phase Of Railway To Be Awarded Next Year

The first phase of the railway project connecting the Saudi borders to the center of Kuwait City is expected to be given to the winning consortium by next year. 

Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP) still needs to invite more specialized companies to apply for the national railway project’s contract before the end of the year, local media reported.

Meanwhile, official reports said relevant authorities had almost removed the last obstacle facing the railway project in Kuwait and that the finance ministry has prepared the compensation amounts to be paid to owners of farms and lands located on the railway route.
