Four People Arrested In Kuwait For Drugs

A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in possession of a cigarette stuffed with a drug and drug paraphernalia in Qairawan area. According to sources, Jahra securitymen were patrolling Qairawan area when they saw a youth sitting on the road pavement. When they approached him, they noticed him throwing away a small bag. They checked it to find the abovementioned items. He was arrested and referred to the Drugs Control General Department (DCGD) for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, Farwaniya securitymen arrested an Egyptian in possession of ‘Spice’ drug and blotting paper used for making cigarettes stuffed with hashish in security Farwaniya area. He was referred to DCGD for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, Ahmadi securitymen arrested two youths in possession of narcotic pills in Ahmadi area. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling on one of the roads in the area when they noticed a vehicle that was being driven in a zigzag manner. They chased the vehicle and eventually managed to instruct the driver to pull over. They asked the driver and his passenger for their identification documents but they did not have any. Sensing their nervousness, securitymen checked the vehicle and found narcotic pills. Both suspects were arrested and referred with the narcotic pills to the concerned authorities for investigation

Gold bracelet, KD 600 stolen: Police have arrested the Asian housemaid who had escaped with her sponsor’s gold bracelet and KD 600 cash, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said after the female Kuwaiti sponsor filed a complaint police investigation led to the arrest of the suspect from the apartment of her compatriots in Jahra. During interrogation the suspect said her boyfriend lured her to commit the crime. Police are looking for the boyfriend.
