Garages Raided For Repairing Damaged Cars Without Permit

03 October 2019 Crime News

The Farwaniya traffic police raided several car repair garages in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Hassawi and issued citations for repairing damaged cars without a permit from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), reports Al-Anba daily.

According to the law, a car damaged in accident cannot be repaired unless the owner produces an accident report issued by the area police station where the accident happened.

This comes within the framework and keenness of the Interior Ministry not to allow people involved in traffic accidents to escape prosecution. A security source pointed out garages which repair vehicles without permission face closure.

On the other hand, the airport traffic officers issued citations to several motorists for obstructing traffic in front of the Kuwait International Airport main exit door
