Head Of A Department In Moh Gets 5 Years Jail For Embezzling Public Funds
The criminal Court presided over by Judge Mohammad Jafar sentenced the head of a department in Ministry of Health to five-year imprisonment and dismissal from his position, as he has been accused of embezzling public funds. The court also ordered him to return a sum of KD 18,000 as well as pay a fine of KD 36,000. The Public Prosecution accused the head of one of the departments of Ministry of Health of embezzling certain amount of money belonging to the state.
