Health Ministry Submits New Salary Scale

Board Chairman and General Manager of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition Essa Al-Kandari affirmed that the Minister of Health Dr Basel Al-Sabah has endorsed and referred the salary scale of the employees to CSC and hopes for swift approval, reports Al-Jarida daily.

He added employees of the authority are entitled to salary increments and allowances for jobs they do, especially as they are prone to infections and diseases during examination and inspection of foodstuffs.

At a party he sponsored in honor of leaders in the Jahra Inspection Department for the second year, Al-Kandari pointed out that the authority has yet to receive its laboratory from the Municipality. He said they are waiting for the furnishing to be completed and most likely inaugurated before the end of the year
