Horrible Experience With Aman Takaful Insurance

My car had an accident two years ago which involved 3 cars, my car was in the middle , the first car suddenly came to our lane so I applied breaks. Unfortunately, I had still hit the car and at the same time one more car hit my car from behind.

We 3 went to police station; they gave us paper and asked to go to insurance company of the car that had hit my car ,which was Aman Takaful Insurance.

I went to Aman Takaful Insurance, they told me to go to some garage. I went to the garage and they quoted around 375 kd . Then i returned to insurance office with the quote and after discussions insurance office informed me that  i will get 300 KWD, once all court procedures are done. I asked why 300 KWD to which they said front damages will not be paid by us. I could do nothing but agree to what they said.

After two years, I received court order saying all the procedures are done after which I went to the insurance company to collect money. They informed me to come after 20 days. When I went to the company again after 20 days , they gave me cheque of 150 KWD. I asked why I got paid just 150 KWD instead of 300 KWD? They said court ordered to pay only 150 KWD. As I don’t know Arabic, I showed the order to my friends who know Arabic and also to some legal team, they said nothing as such is mentioned that you get only 150 KWD.

I went back to the insurance company and told them that in the judgment no where its mentioned that you just pay 150 KWD to which they cooked up a different story saying that they will just pay for the damage done at the back not front. I told them you calculated 300 KWD for the damage done at the back only. I tried to contact their manager but no luck. Also, i sent emails to company mentioning about the issue and there was no response.

They argued asking me to go and complaint in the court, If we want to file a legal case that it would cost more than 150 KWD. In Kuwait, we don’t have any consumer courts or consumer protection, I tried to contact a few which I found on Google but no one responds because of this, it’s such a waste.

Will they really do the same thing to a Local Citizen , Still i am trying to find the ways to recover my money back
