Huge Fire Erupted In Food Warehouse

Huge fire erupted early morning Wednesday in a food warehouse located in an area measuring 2,000 square meters in Al-Rai. Firefighting teams from six fire stations, consisting of 60 firemen, extinguished the fire and no injuries or casualties were reported.

Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) revealed that its Operations Unit received information on the fire incident in the food warehouse in the basement of a two-storey building. Firefighting teams, led by Director General for Fire Service Lieutenant Khaled Al-Mikrad and other officials, rushed to the location and doused the fire before it spread to nearby warehouses which contained timber, paints and sponge.
