Hungary Visa Application Centre Opens In Kuwait
Residents of Kuwait can now apply for visas to Hungary at a new Visa Application Centre for the Embassy of Hungary in the city. Applicants can visit the VFS Global centre to submit visa applications and enrol for biometrics in a centrally-located and comfortable environment.
Kuwait is the second country in the Middle East, after the United Arab Emirates, from where applicants can apply for a visa to Hungary. Similar centres in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are expected to be launched in the coming months.
VFS Global has been operating visa processing services in Kuwait since 2005, and today serves 11 client governments in the country. The company has been serving the Government of Hungary since 2010, and serves the client in 6 countries from 29 visa application centres globally.
Our cooperation is distinguished with deep mutual understanding; excellent cooperation in both political and economic fields as well as with excellent people-to-people relations. We are determined to do our best to open the gates wider for people living in Kuwait to visit Hungary. The opening of the visa center is a very important step in this regard. I am confident that the visa center will help us achieve our goal to make the visa procedure fast and smooth, and will significantly contribute to the development of the cooperation between Hungary and Kuwait in the field of tourism.”
We are pleased by the very positive reports of Kuwaiti citizens who visited Hungary recently and I hope they will encourage their relatives and friends to come to us soon. Our Embassy will do its utmost to offer excellent visa services to the applicants and I am confident that our partnership with VFS Global will become an added value and a great success. I wish the old and the new Kuwaiti visitors of Hungary a very nice trip.”
Adding to this Srinarayan Sankaran, COO – Middle East, VFS Global, “We are delighted to successfully launch this centre for the Government of Hungary in Kuwait that will provide standardised and streamlined visa services for applicants. The launch of this centre serves the needs of the ever-expanding travel trade in this region and we are confident it will deliver services that exceed the expectations of our clients.”
The key features of the centre include:
- Professional staff with local language capability to handle queries and applications
- Automated queue governance for smooth flow of applicants
- Dedicated website for easy access to information including visa categories, requirements, check-list and applicable fees
- 100 percent secure handling of passports, documents and personal information
