Important Updates For Travelers , Who Need To Travel To Kuwait And From Kuwait
Important updates for Traveller
We would like to inform you of important updates, related to measures adopted by the State of Kuwait, to contain the spread of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19):
1. E-visa: All nationalities from the list: https://evisa.moi.gov.kw/evisa/home_e.do are allowed to use the E-visa system except for passengers who have traveled in last 14 days to: China, Thailand, South Korea, Iraq, Iran, Hong Kong, Italy and Egypt.
2. Mandatory medical examination and PCR certificate: From March 8th onwards, all passengers (except Kuwaiti citizens) travelling from Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Georgia and Lebanon, need to undergo mandatory medical examination and produce PCR certificate (confirming they are completely free of Coronavirus disease) for their entry to Kuwait, failing which they will be deported back to the country they came from.
The medical examination and PCR certificate should be issued by Health Centers Approved by the Embassy of Kuwait in the countries mentioned above, and in the absence of a Kuwaiti embassy in these countries it will be approved by the Certified Health Authority of the country.
The mandatory medical examination does not apply to passengers from these countries who will transit through Kuwait on to another destination
6th Night -In an emergency cabinet meeting on Friday night, the cabinet decided to suspend all flights to and from Bangladesh,
Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt for one week. This decision is with immediate effect.

On 11 March - All commercial flights from Kuwait international airport will be suspended from Friday until further notice,and limited them to Kuwaitis and their relatives.
