Indian Actor Akshay Kumar and Nimrat in Kuwait Based Movie Shooting Airlift - The Movies is Based Indians Stuck in Kuwait During Gulf War

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur have cooked up a storm on the streets of Ras Al Khaimah. Local residents have spotted the actors shooting the second schedule of their movie ‘Airlift’ in the busy Kuwaiti Raod.  Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, ‘Airlift’ is said to be based on the Indians who were stuck in Kuwait during the Gulf War.

                                                                                                                                            

                                                                                                                                            

                                                                                                                                             

                                                                                                                                             

                                                                                                                                            

‘Airlift’ reportedly sees Akshay play the lead role of Ranjit Katyal, a wealthy Indian businessman based in Kuwait.
 When he and his family are caught in the midst of Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait, Ranjit unwittingly becomes the man who all 170,000 Indians look up to for finding them a safe passage across the border into Jordan.
