Indian Business Council Honours Kuwaiti And Indian Personalities
In a glittering function, Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC), Kuwait honours the prominent members of Kuwait and Indian business communities during IBCs 14th annual celebration. The Celebrations was held at Al Barraka Ball Room, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kuwait, on Saturday, May 21st. Well known marketing guru, author and columnist Suhel Seth was the chief guest. Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sunil Jain was the guest of honour. A Galaxy of prominent Kuwaiti and Indian personalities graced the occasion.Â
Prominent Kuwaiti nationals were honoured for their achievements during the event. Ebrahim Alkazi, who is one of the most influential Indian theatre directors and drama teacher, Dr Hussain Mohammad Merza Dashti, who completed his MBBS from University of Mumbai, Safi Al Mutawa senior Partner of KPMG Kuwait, Muhammad Mustafa Karam, who is the sole distributor of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Mahmoud Bastaki - a professional cricketer and retired banking professionals were honoured for their outstanding contributions in Indo- Kuwait relationship.Â
IBPC also honoured various Indian for their outstanding achievements in Kuwait. Mr Abdul Kader, who achieved 'weaving’ success with absolute hard work, honesty and dedication, Dr Leons Joseph, Prominent Indian businessman Dharam Vir Malhora, Pinak Maitra - the board member of Burgan Bank, OSN and PKC Advisory, Ms Chaitali B Roy for her outstanding achievement in playing a meaningful role in Kuwaiti society and (Late) Mr Manoj Kabra were also honoured during the event.
Earlier IBPC Hon Secretary Anant Kapadia welcomed the audience and IBPC Vice Chairman Mr SHivi Bhasin introduced the chief guest. Indian Ambassador Sunil Jain also spoke on the occasion. Large number of Indian business man and professionals and number of Kuwaiti personalities attended the event.
