The corpse of a 1947-born Indian expatriate was found hanging from a tree inside a garden opposite Kathma School in Jahra area, says Al- Seyassah.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the hanging corpse in the garden, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and pulled down the corpse. After confirming that the victim was dead, they referred the corpse to the Forensics Department.

Securitymen conducted investigations to identify the victim and discovered that he is an Indian citizen. They called his sponsor and asked him if he knew any reason why the victim would commit suicide. The sponsor expressed surprise and said he did not know of any problems that the victim was facing. A case was registered and necessary action was taken.
