Inspectors Seized And Destroyed 5 Tons Of Spoilt Fruits And Vegetables At A Makeshift Market

As part of the ongoing campaign titled ‘Your Health is Trust’, officials from the Public Hygiene and Road Usage Department affiliated to Farwaniya Municipality seized items displayed by hawkers during an inspection tour of public squares and mosques in Jleeb Shuyoukh and Hasawi areas.

Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality revealed that inspectors seized and destroyed 5 tons of spoilt fruits and vegetables at a makeshift market along a road in Hasawi Block 2. The campaign simultaneously targeted misuse of roads with abandoned vehicles, rickety vehicles and illegal sales at various places in the two areas where officers removed 26 abandoned vehicles.
