Jordanian Universities Did Not Issue Any Fake Certificate
Jordanian Minister of Higher Education Dr Adel Al-Towaissi made clear that reports received by his ministry from Kuwaiti officials confirm the private and governmental Jordanian universities did not issue any fake certificate, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Speaking to the daily, Al- Towaissi disclosed he recently met the Kuwaiti ambassador in Amman and he informed him that investigations did not reveal any fake certificate received by Kuwaiti students from Jordanian universities.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance issued a circular to its staff instructing them to refrain from using yellow paper for internal transactions among the employees or officials – whether the paper has the logo of the country or not, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The decision is based on the recommendation of the Planning Committee to stop wastage of the official yellow paper with the ministry’s logo. Sources explained the yellow paper is more expensive than the ordinary paper; hence, the need to use it wisely.
