Knpc Set To Float Kd 2.5 Mn Tender

Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has set June 17 as the date to float a tender worth KD 2.5 million to supply spare parts of turbines and compressors for gas operations at Ahmadi Refinery.

According to sources, the tender for gas turbines comes in conjunction with the operation of the fourth gas pipeline in the refinery and the imminence of the operation of the fifth pipeline next year with capacity reaching up to 800 million cubic meters daily per pipeline.

The gas pipeline is among the most important strategic projects of KNPC with the aim of increasing Kuwait’s capacity to produce and manufacture gas at a regional level for meeting the domestic needs and to export overseas.
