The Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) has notified Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) that it is not competent to request for the extension of the contract of collective health insurance for workers and employees of KPC and its subsidiaries for a period of three months, which would be worth about KD 7.5 million and would benefit about 64,000 workers and their families, reports Al-Rai daily.

Meanwhile, informed sources revealed that the agency has approved, by a majority of one-third of the members, the request of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) to sign a direct contract for providing information system services in Ahmadi Hospital with a local company at a cost of about KD 8 million for a period of 60 months.
