Kuwait Airways Cancels Today Flights To Istanbul

30 June 2016 Kuwait

Kuwait Airways has cancelled today’s flights to and from Istanbul, following the suicide terrorist attacks which targeted the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. The national carrier also cancelled flights which were scheduled to head to Istanbul yesterday in the aftermath of the deadly terror blast.

The airline said in a statement that it decided to cancel flights KU155 and KU 156, scheduled on June 28-29 following the devastating attack on the airport, which took place Tuesday evening, resulting in the closure of the airport.

Kuwait Airways, it added, was closely coordinating its future flight with the Airport authorities in Istanbul.

It is currently communicating with all its passengers there to advise them on the current situation and to rearrange their travel itinerary.

"We will advise of any changes to this developing situation," it said.
