Kuwait Authorities Steps Up Security Measures Ahead Of Eid Al Fitr

Authorities in Kuwait have stepped up security measures to ensure people’s safety in the country ahead of Eid al Fitr.

Foot patrols will be deployed in different districts to monitor souqs, hypermarkets and shopping malls.

The Ministry of Interior will also conduct inspection of buildings and step up security measures near mosques and community centres.

Sources told Arabic newspaper Alanba that strict instructions were issued to ban any vehicles from reaching vital locations and facilities as part of preventive measures.
