A Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s was arrested along with two girls — a Kuwaiti and an Iraqi — for possessing and consuming drugs in Salwa area. According to security sources, Private Taskforce officers were patrolling Salwa area when they noticed a vehicle parked on the roadside with one man and two girls inside.

Officers approached them and checked their details to discover the man and one of the girls are Kuwaitis while the other girl is an Iraqi. Sensing their disoriented state, the officers checked the vehicle and found “Larika” drug, drug paraphernalia and cigarettes stuffed with hashish.

The three suspects were arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the Drugs Control General Department (DCGD) for necessary legal action. The vehicle was detained in Salwa Police Station. Meanwhile, Jahra securitymen arrested two Kuwaiti citizens and an Egyptian expatriate in possession of drugs, after they arrived at a security checkpoint in Sulaibiya area at night.

They were referred with the drugs to the DCGD for necessary legal action. Meanwhile, A Kuwaiti citizen in his 20s was arrested in Jahra Industrial Area in possession of 33 narcotic pills. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen were patrolling Jahra Industrial Area when they suspected an individual and stopped him for investigations. Noticing his disoriented state, they checked him to find 33 narcotic pills.

Meanwhile, Jahra securitymen arrested two individuals — a Kuwaiti citizen and a GCC national — for consuming and possessing drugs. In addition, two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested in Fintas area in possession of a bottle of liquor and 14 narcotic pills. Ahmadi securitymen found them inside a vehicle parked on the roadside and suspected them after noticing their disoriented state. They checked them and found the liquor bottle and narcotic pills. The sources revealed that all of the abovementioned suspects were referred with the confiscated items to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.
