Kuwaiti Businesswoman Won Global Leadership Award 2016

Kuwaiti businesswoman Muntaha Al-Ajeel expressed her happiness over winning the Global Leadership Awards 2016, recently held in Bali, Indonesia, in recognition of her work in fashion design.

In a statement on Wednesday, Al-Ajeel said the event was organized by the American Leadership Development Association (ALDA) in cooperation with the GCC Chambers' Union. She noted that she was selected by the UN to run a fashion show for wives of world leaders in New York.

She was also invited by Kuwait's Permanent Mission to the UN, to hold a show in celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Kuwait's membership. The businesswoman also added that she has previously received the GR8 Women Achievers Award and other awards specialized in fashion.

The award aims to honor prominent achievers in 30 fields, focusing on individuals with contributions towards global growth in economic and leadership development.
