Kuwaiti Man Escaped From Securitymen Was Arrested In His House
In less than 24 hours after a Kuwaiti man escaped from securitymen with the assistance of his wife, was arrested in his house in Sulaibikhat. Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Interior Ministry Major General Abdul Hameed Al-Awadi instructed a team of officers to intensify their search for the fugitive who reportedly used electric shock to attack an officer in order to escape.
Earlier, Director General of the Criminal Security Department Major General Mohammad Al-Sharhan gathered information to determine the whereabouts of the suspect. The officers later obtained a warrant from the Public Prosecution to raid his house, leading to his arrest. The suspect is said to have swindled a GCC national as he forced the latter to sign documents and threatened him. The victim lodged a complaint at Sulaibikhat Police Station so the accused was summoned for questioning.
However, the accused resisted arrest and asked his wife to take photos, alleging that securitymen molested his wife. A security source disclosed several cases had previously filed against the accused, in addition to the case registered by the GCC national.
