Kuwaiti Reportedly Escaped Unhurt When His Car Got Trapped Into An Open Manhole

A Kuwaiti reportedly escaped unhurt when his car got trapped into an open manhole in a suburb of Fahd Al-Ahmad, reports Arab Times daily.

The man had to call a tow truck to pull the car out. The daily said it is surprising that in Kuwaiti theft has become a lucrative business — theft of construction material, power cables from buildings under construction and even manhole covers putting at risk the lives of motorists and pedestrians.

Many complaints about theft of manhole covers have been filed, but the suspects have yet to be arrested.
