Kuwaitis Topped Real Estate Investors In Sharjah

Kuwaitis topped the list of real estate investors in Sharjah Emirate during the first half of 2016, a new report showed Monday. In its semi-annual report, Sharjah Real Estate Registration Directorate pointed out that Kuwaitis have carried out 561 deals in the first six months of the year vis-a -vis 297 deals in the corresponding period of last year, up 88.9 percent.

The Kuwaiti transactions make up 4.5 percent of all deals registered in that period. Saudi investors came second with 151 deals followed by Qataris with 57 deals, the report noted. It estimated the total value of deals in the first half of 2016 at 12 billion dirhams (about USD 3.26 billion).
