Lawyer Gets 4 Years Jail For Forgery

The Criminal Court has sentenced an unidentified lawyer to four years imprisonment with hard labor for forging official papers, reports Al-Anba daily. However, the court ordered the attorney to pay KD 1,000 to suspend the sentence. In the same case, the court acquitted two other lawyers citing lack of evidence. The case was filed by attorney Ibtisam Al-Enezi accusing the main accused of falsifying a proxy in collusion with two other lawyers based on which the court had ordered her husband to pay KD 4 million in an unknown case.
