Light Shed On Drugs And Cyber-crimes

04 November 2016 Kuwait

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid Al-Sabah affirmed that the security institution will exert efforts to interact closely with male and female students in order to spread awareness among them about the dangers of illicit drugs, cybercrimes and environment degradation.

The minister declared this recently during a visit to an awareness exhibition organized by the ministry’s General Department of Public Relations and Media Security for two consecutive weeks inside Nawaf Al-Ahmad Building. He was accompanied to the event by the Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Fahad Al-Fahad, Special Adviser to the minister retired Lieutenant General Ahmad Al-Khalifa and several other senior ministry officials.

Sheikh Mohammad declared that the achievement accomplished in the Nawaf Al-Ahmad Building, which will later be extended to exhibitions outside, exemplifies the support that the security institution gives to the General Department of Public Relations and Media Security for protecting this age group.

He insisted that their protection will be fruitful in the near future, and urged schools and parents to support such awareness efforts.
