Many Citizens Welcome Moi Decision On Revival Of Indian Housemaids Recruitment
In light of the ongoing crisis related to domestic labor and decline of applications in domestic labor recruitment offices especially with the ban of recruitment of Filipina housemaids, many citizens welcome the decision of Domestic Labor Department of Ministry of Interior for the revival of recruitment of female Indian domestic workers in Kuwait, reports Al-Anba daily.
The domestic labor market is suffering from shortage of domestic workers especially before the month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Education Thursday announced expiration of the administrative license that grants the Ministry of Interior the right to use former premises of Khalifa Al-Khalifa Public School as a temporary site for Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, reports Al-Nahar daily.
However, Interior Ministry Undersecretary Major General Mahmoud Al-Dosari declared the ministry still needs the location to serve as headquarters for the Institute of Women Police until another site is established within its future projects.
He made this known in a letter to his counterpart at the Ministry of Education Dr Haitham Al-Athari. He reaffirmed payment of fees for using the place from April 1, 2017 to 31st March 2018, hoping the Ministry of Education will approve the renewal of contract for another three years. He required quick response to enable concerned officials sign the new contract
