Marijuana Seized

Customs officers at the Kuwaiti International Airport recently foiled an attempt by an Asian man to smuggle 12 kilos of marijuana into the country by hiding the drug in secret pockets of his bags, reports Al-Anba daily. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control. In a similar incident, customs officers at the Sa’ad Al-Abdullah airport foiled an attempt by another Asian to smuggle 2 kilos of marijuana into the country. The daily added, the Asian claimed he had lost one of his bags in the belief it would not be searched. The customs officers then searched the bag and found the drugs hidden in the bag
