Moci Is All Set To Implement The Electronic Price Monitoring Project

Ministry of Commerce and Industry is all set to implement the electronic price monitoring project and has floated a tender for that purpose.

The daily quoting a source added the Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalid Al-Roudhan has taken quick steps within a short period to accomplish the electronic price monitoring project on time due to importance he attaches to the project, especially the automation of services. He reaffirmed the system will be useful in providing consumers with weekly price lists for about 500 varieties of commodities.

The source indicated the number of commodities to be included in the electronic price monitoring system is open ended, indicating it will be increased the instant new commodities essential to the daily life of citizens and expatriates are available. This will be achieved through consistent and close monitoring of markets as well as the needs of citizens and expatriates, he said.
