Moe's Proposal To Change The Timetable Of Some Schools To Reduce Traffic Jams
Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr Mohammed Al-Fares revealed about a proposal to change the timetable of some schools on an experimental basis with the aim of reducing traffic jams.
He said the Undersecretary of the ministry proposed this during a meeting of the Higher Traffic Council of which he is a member. Dr Al-Fares said this experiment is the first of its kind aimed at studying the results and identifying the rate of contribution in solving the traffic congestion problem and suitability of guardians. He indicated that there are no new requests from the General Traffic Department in terms of changing the schools timetable, revealing that a request in this regard was presented in the past but the ministry had rejected it.
