Moe Has Stressed The Significance Of Using Technology For Afterwork Communication
Minister of Education and Higher Education Mohammad Al-Fares has stressed the significance of using technology for afterwork communication, as well as the interaction between schools and parents. Countries employ technology in all fields, not only in education, Al-Fares told reporters on Sunday after launching the website of the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Education Directorate, and the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hall.
It is high time the Ministry of Education shifted to using means of communication with parents after school hours, the minister noted. Al-Fares referred to today’s website as “giant” one that will make it easy for students to follow up their lessons in case one is absent from school. It will also help parents be acquainted with their kids’ level and activities.
Referring to the collective failure in the computer supervision tests, the minister said that a comprehensive report was being prepared on the issue. There are more than one solution to settle the issue; the tests could be re-marked or new ones be held, he said. For his part, head of the directorate Mansour Al-Dihani announced the launch of a host of electronic projects that include the area’s smart website and the smart school administration for the secondary stage. They will offer significance services to students and parents, as well as the entire education process, he added.
