Moh Rejects Video Clip Showing Patients Waiting For Beds
After the approval of the Audit Bureau and the Central Tenders Committee (CTC), the Ministry of Health (MoH) has given the nod for the 6 months extension of the contract of health insurance participants, issuing their cards, from January 28, 2019 until July 27, and sent a letter to the concerned contracting company, reports Al-Jarida daily.
On the other hand, Al-Sabah Hospital denied a video clip, which was circulated by means of social networking, for patients waiting for vacant beds for 6 months, stressing that this subject is completely false.
The hospital management said in a statement there are no patients waiting for a bed, adding it will take legal action against those who have circulated the video containing pictures of the facilities of the hospital and patients, visitors and workers, without taking into account their privacy, in addition to publishing incorrect news.
Meanwhile, the hospital administration said its doors are open to all complaints and proposals. On the issue of insects in the hospital, sources pointed out that there is always coordination with the rodent and insect control unit to deal with it. With regard to the water leakage from the roofs during the heavy rain, the concerned department confirmed these were some simple problems that were treated quickly in time
