Mp Saleh Ashour Described The Formation Of Cabinet As Massacre
MP Saleh Ashour described the recent formation of the Cabinet as “massacre”, reports Al-Shahed daily. During an interview in Al- Shahed satellite TV channel, he explained that eight of the replaced Cabinet members in the former government were close to the public.
They had worked with consistency and effort but the members who remain are difficult to deal with, such as Hind Al-Sabeeh and Anas Al-Saleh. He indicated that, “The political playmaker is looking for a confrontation in the Parliament”.
Regarding the lifting of the sports ban, MP Ashour said the lifting of the ban is an “old film”, as it does not apply to all sports activities but for only football and under the condition that election for the clubs and associations should be held within six months. He stressed that issues related to privatization of the sports club and investments were not among the conditions for lifting the ban and yet it was approved.
;Also, MP Ashour indicated that voters want the MPs to perform their role instead of withdrawing from the oathtaking session and then returning back to the Parliament, adding that “The government will be happy when the MPs withdraw from the session. They will be happier if they fail to attend at all”.
He explained that the political work in the country is on the decline, due to several reasons including the methodology and mechanism of the relation between the two authorities, political rhetoric and the amendments made on the electoral law and the electoral constituencies as well as disputes among members of the ruling family.
