01 May 2017 Crime News

The Criminal Court adjourned to May 14 the final proceedings of the State Security case filed against a Kuwaiti citizen who was accused of running over and killing a police officer and injuring others while the country was commemorating its National Days. The Public Prosecution had charged the suspect of premeditated murder as he had intention to kill a large number of police officers present at a security checkpoint by running over them with his vehicle. He eventually killed a police captain intentionally in public. Those at the checkpoint clearly heard him offending the entity of His Highness the Amir and calling for the public to join a group whose mission is to spread principles that destroy the fabric of the political system of the country.
