Need To Organize Insurance Sector

More than 80 percent of the insurance companies do not fulfil their contracts with individuals and companies, and procrastinate in paying repair costs, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting reliable sources.

They revealed that Ministry of Commerce and Industry receives many complaints about the way the insurance companies handle situations especially in the automobile sector. The sources stressed the need for a supervisory authority to organize the market, in light of the mess that prevails in the insurance sector of Kuwait.

They highlighted the lack of an independent authority that is specialized in the supervision of the insurance sector.
