No Radioactive Elements In The Atmosphere - Astronomer

Astronomer Adel Al-Saadoon has refuted rumors spread on social media platforms about the presence of radioactive elements in the atmosphere, following the global fear of possible radioactive contamination after the rocket explosion in the Russian city of Severodvinsk, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Speaking to the daily, Al-Saadoon affirmed that Kuwait and other GCC countries are away from the radioactive dust, pointing out the recent explosion cannot be compared with the Chernobyl incident.
