Officials Warned Citizens And Expatriates Against Fake Maids Offices
Officials warned citizens and expatriates against dealing with fake domestic help offices. According to a statement the ministry has recently issued, it said that some people made ads over social media and other means, offering domestic help services on hourly basis. It added that this activity is considered ‘swindling acts’ by people who do not have the proper licenses to offer housemaid employment services.
Officials urged citizens and expats to deal only with offices licensed by the Interior ministry so that they do not fall victim for fraudsters.
