On Duty Police Beaten By Love Birds

A young bedoun woman and her boyfriend have been arrested by the securitymen for assaulting a policeman on duty, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, this happened when the woman behind the steering wheel was ordered to pull over for violating a traffic law. The daily added, the suspects obeyed, but walked up to the vehicle of the policeman and assaulted him, got back into their car and then deliberately collided with the patrol car.

The victim requested for support and the suspects were seized and referred to the concerned authorities. Police have found in the car a knife, a sword and narcotic pills.
