Openings For Local Contracts With Expatriate Teachers In 11 Subjects

Ministry of Education officially announces openings for local contracts with expatriate teachers in 11 subjects that include English and French languages, mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, geology, decoration, physical education, art and music, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The ministry stipulates that applicants should not be more than 45 years old, while women who wish to apply for physical education should not be more than 32 years old. Expatriates holding master and doctorate degrees are exempted from mandatory experience but their GPA for the bachelor’s degree should not go below “Good”.

Bedouns, children of Kuwaiti mothers, wives of Kuwaitis, GCC nationals and non-Kuwaiti graduates of Kuwaiti universities in the country are exempted from the working experience condition. The work experience exemption also covers non-Kuwaitis who wish to teach physical education, music, art and decoration. Other applicants (holders of degree in education and those without degree in education) should have a minimum of two and three years working experience respectively.
