Paci Issued 85,000 Civil Id Cards Last Week

The Public Authority for Civil Information PACI issued 85,000 Civil ID cards during the past week in order to overcome the delay they faced recently. This is almost 3 times more than the usual number of cards issued by PACI in a week.

PACI had experienced a delay in issuing Civil ID cards due to the shortage of materials which required to produce the civil ID cards. Many people faced hardship and was forced to change their travel plans as Civil ID card is now mandatory for traveling outside Kuwait.

According to sources, PACI accelerated the production of cards and made around 92,000 cards in a week time to overcome the delays due to the material shortage
