Pakistani Taxi Driver Was Arrested In Possession Of 20 Sachets Of Heroin

A Pakistani taxi driver was arrested in possession of 20 sachets of heroin inside his flat in Salmiya area. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya area when they stopped a taxi based on suspicions and checked the details to discover he is a Pakistani expatriate. While interrogating him further, he tried to escape. Securitymen stopped him and firmly questioned him on the reason behind his escape. The suspect eventually confessed that he is involved in drug peddling. He revealed that he has drugs in his flat. He led securitymen to his flat where they confiscated the drugs. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities. Meanwhile, an Egyptian expatriate was arrested in possession of three “Farawla” narcotic pills while he was walking in Khaitan area at night.
