Pam Has Imposed Additional Charges Of Kd 250 For Each Work Permit

Public Authority for Manpower has imposed additional charges of KD 250 for each work permit that exceeds the quota of 25 percent allocated for the companies listed in the Kuwait Boursa and classified by the Central Agency For Public Tenders as first, second and third class, trademark agencies, stockholders and holding companies, etc.

The decision by the authority entails imposing these extra charges based on the condition of not exceeding 50 percent of the total number of work permits specified in the license of the employer.

Sources reported that the decision by the Public Authority for Manpower is based on the increasing demand by specialized companies and trademark agencies to recruit employees with specialized skills from outside the country.
