Pilot Tried To Smuggle Alcohol

Director-General for Investigations at the Kuwait International Airport Colonel Abdullah Al-Malek has referred a Syrian pilot and a female cabin crew to the Public Prosecution for attempting to smuggle 10 bottles of alcohol into the country, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the bootleggers have been released on bail pending investigation. According to security sources, when the suspects arrived at the airport, they looked confused. Their baggage was searched and inspectors found alcohol. During interrogation they admitted to the charge and said they did not intend to sell but was for personal consumption.
