Plainclothes Securitymen Have Arrested Two Drug Traffickers

05 February 2017 Crime News

Plainclothes securitymen have arrested two drug traffickers — an Iranian and a Bedoun — and referred them to the concerned authorities, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said the arrest came when the Iranian requested a Kuwaiti sea captain to help recover 52 kilos of hashish which was thrown in the sea and which had apparently come to rest at the bottom by members of a compatriot gang and provided him the exact location. The Kuwaiti captain then informed the police and pretended to accept the offer of the Iranian. He went with the Iranian to the site where hashish was dumped, recovered the contraband and sailed to the shore where they were met by detectives. The Bedoun partner was arrested later and during interrogation they admitted to working for another bedoun who is serving time at the Central Prison and conducts his activity from behind bars.
