Police Nab 459 Illegal Expats In Jleeb, Fahaheel Industrial Area Campaigns
Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry stated two security campaigns executed by Public Security Sector at random markets, vegetable markets, and unsuspecting flats in Jleeb Shuyoukh area at Farwaniya Governorate and Fahaheel Industrial Area in Ahmadi Governorate respectively resulted in the arrest of 459 people, among them 30 individuals who were without identity cards and 51 residency law violators.
Also, they included 26 individuals with expired residency, 15 people involved in alcohol related offenses and 10 others in civil cases, as well as four people caught in immoral acts.
They also arrested 3 people in possession of illicit drugs, and issued 164 citations for various traffic violations, and provided assistance to 24 civilians, and impounded 8 vehicles. The two campaigns were led by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affair, Major General Sheikh Faisal Al Nawaf, accompanied by high ranking officers from different sectors of the Interior Ministry.
