Rapporteur Of The Parliamentary Committee Tasked To Investigating Irregularities In The Ministry Of Health

Rapporteur of the parliamentary committee tasked to investigating irregularities in the Ministry of Health MP Saadoun Hammad has confirmed completion of their report on investigation of financial and administrative irregularities in the ministry.

He said the 130-page report will be submitted to the Parliament soon, indicating the committee recommended referral of some current and former ministry officials and heads of two health offices abroad to the Public Prosecution and the Public Authority for Combating Corruption. On another issue, MP Al- Humaidi Al-Subaie urged Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and State Minister for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh to face the interpellation motion against her.

He revealed the presenters of the motion have evidence to support the grilling point. He also explained that submission a grilling request is not for a show or to defame a minister, because it is a regulatory tool guaranteed by the Constitution for every MP to rectify mistakes.
