Religious Affairs Has Stopped Two Muezzins From Preaching

Assistant Undersecretary for Mosques Affairs at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr Walid Al-Shuaib said the Committee for Religious Affairs has stopped two muezzins from preaching and also suspended an imam and a preacher for four months for violating the Mosques Charter, reports Al- Qabas daily.

Al-Shuaib affirmed the ministry has formed a specialized committee to prepare the Friday sermon depending on the general situation and the role of the ministry to spread the correct religious thought and propagate moderation and tolerance of Islam in dealing with all sects of society.
