Saudi Citizen Arrested For Assaulting A Custom Officer

Officers at the Nuwaiseeb Port have arrested an unidentified Saudi citizen and referred him to the area police station for assaulting an employee on duty, reports Al-Rai daily. Giving details about the incident, a security source said the Saudi lost his temper when a customs officer began a search of his car. The customs officer has submitted a medical report from the Adan Hospital to show injuries on his body.

Fight in garage: A quarrel broke out between two young men and three laborers in Jahra Industrial Area, resulting in injuries to one of them, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, the quarrel was concerning the vehicle which was brought into a garage for repairs. After the quarrel was settled, the injured individual was referred to the nearest hospital for treatment. Securitymen took necessary action
