School Teacher Harassed Female Student, Refused To Go To School

The issue of a female student of Grade XII who refused to go to school after completing the first semester has been referred for investigation, reports Arab Times daily. This happened when the father of the student met the Director of Hawally Educational Directorate Mansour Al-Dhafari and narrated the story of what happened to his daughter and why she hates to go to school anymore in spite of being a bright student.

He told the senior education official that his frustrated with school life after one of the teachers took her to the bathroom and ordered her to take off her clothes under the pretext she had a cellphone with her. He added this incident happened during one of the exam days of the first semester. He said after the search she refused to answer the exam but was forced to do so under pressure. The father added that the girl did not pass the examination and now hates school.
